Precisely... and who knows how deep this sentiment runs? Perhaps the view that foreign materials are unnecessary isn't unpopular enough for them to benefit us in that regard.

Precisely. If nothing else, it doesn't seem to be the result of active censorship, so it's not as though there's active malicious intent behind it. That's really the only good thing you can say about the situation, though...

Whatever their intent, the results are the same. But it does give one hope that the situation might change.

If nothing else, information from other regions does have a chance of trickling in slowly... and it's difficult to spend any length of time here without learning some form of patience.

...the sentient garbage is actually less unusual for me if you apply certain explanations to it, but the fact that it's apparently a biological organism... yes, definitely.

Well, as I was saying, it would make sense if it was some sort of magical construct or some sort of spirit that happened to be possessing garbage. However, the fact that it can reproduce at all, much less in the same manner as the majority of Pokemon and with Pokemon that aren't garbage, sends it straight back into dangerous territory.

You have to wonder why any other species would even want to breed with garbage, possible or not. That sounds like an easy way to get rare and nasty illnesses that might not be apparent on a Poison-type.

...differing standards of attractiveness and the fact that no matter how likely it seems, Pokemon only get sick once in a blue moon, I suppose... but ugh, I would hope that my Pokemon have better taste than that.

You could always just tell them not to do it, but then that might convince them to pull a romeo and Juliet on you.

Well, I do have a fair bit of them and Pokemon have fairly distinct personalities... obviously, you're going to have some individuals on your team who don't quite get along. Granted, being selective of which ones I allow out of their Pokeballs at any given time has prevented things from escalating, but it would be nice to not have to limit any possible combinations if I ever need to have several Pokemon out at once.

If they only don't get along, it's not so bad. Most of the time they can be made to work together for a good cause, even if only grudgingly and for a short period of time. But you don't have any that are dangerous to the rest of your team, do you?
