Can anyone explain to me what was supposed to be so horrible about challenging Whitney? She was really sweet when we talked, and the info she shared about Normal-types is going to be useful when I move on. I fail to see what's warning-worthy about that.

Well, I can heal only minor wounds and I don't think they'll take advantage of it. I mean, why would a little kid want to scrape his knee just so it could be made all better in a few? [ she don't get it. ]

To get the grownups' attention, or to prove to his friends that he's very brave by getting hurt and not crying.

I'm not really considered a grown-up, but maybe some people will get involved in competitions that end up injuring them. I know, in terms of showing off, those things can happen.

Of course they can. Even normal sports can get you nasty injuries if you're not careful, no showing off intended.

Yeah, but I don't think that's likely to happen. I don't think someone would injure themselves on my trampoline, especially since I can make barrier magic to prevent serious injuries.

That would definitely stop great displays of childish bravery cold.

And falls too, haha. In fact, the trampoline's spell original intention is to stop falls. If I need to, I can quickly turn it into a net where you can't really bounce on it.

A great jump, foiled by a net? How embarrassing for the kids.

That's what you get when you get a little dangerous! You ruin the fun for everyone!

That could have a terrible impact on their social lives.

Yeah! They'd always be known as the guy who ruined everyone's trampoline day!

Can't get a much worse reputation than that, at that age.

Yeah, but maybe I might offer them redemption sometime soon or something, hehe. Who knows!

No! I just don't want to be unpopular with the young ones. You know how they can be sometimes! And I love fostering a play time for the kids!

Play time for the kids, huh... That does sound fun. I'll have to try it, one of these days.

Hehe! We can try it together, if you want! I'm sure we can find a way to make a fun daycare for a day. [ And only a day. She's too tired to do it all day erryday. ]

Do you really think we could last for a whole day?

I think we can! You're authoritative but I connect with kids really well! We can make a really good team together!

Hey, I could easily be the cool grown-up, you know.

But authority makes you cool! { She can't exactly explain to him that she's walk all over material usually. ]

Too much of it and they stop listening to you, though.

Yes but you can balance authority with tenderness well! You were able to get Whitney to not cry!

Apparently, that's mostly because of our shared favorite type.

Really?! She didn't cry for any other reason? I wonder if I talked up normal types, would she be happy with me....? They really are cute!
