Seriously. She learned the attack, levelled up, and promptly threw P150 at me. The vending machine took it without any problems.

I can think of a few reasons off the top of my head. Some are better than others, but I never said they were all good reasons.

You can tell her it's called Pay Day and that Meowth learns it. She'd have to wait a little before evolving it, but it should be worth an extra day or two.
