So.
I just got around to getting my Pokédex upgraded, and now some of my old data is glitchy and incorrect. Not a lot of it, but still.
Is that known issue? Is there a fix for it?
I mean, it's not that much of a problem, but they should really test those upgrades before distributing them.

It might be more than the Pokédex. My Gardevoir's going on about how he feels so empowered around dragons now.

His giggling's gotten ten times worse. I feel like something fishy's going on.

You know, this is the only world where a whole bunch of creatures suddenly becoming immune to a type of attack sounds more likely than a mere programming glitch.

That thought is alarming enough without added giggling. Has he tried to prove that new empowerment of his?

Glitches have happened. Actual, world-altering glitches, pixels and all.

And does summoning a miniature moon count as proof?

Well, of course they have. Why would this world be happy with normal little Pokédex glitches, when it can glitch reality itself completely?

...I don't know if it counts officially, but it's good enough for me.

With real pixels and nightmare music. I'm 100% serious.

It's definitely not an attack I've seen before. My dark types aren't all that happy about it, either.

The sad part is that I 100% believe you, somehow.

Really? You'd think the moon and darkness would be associated. Unless its light counts for more than its presence during the night.

Guess that means you're desensitized. Had to happen sooner or later.

Maybe it is the moonlight, but I never would've linked fairies to the moon...

Normally I'd associate the moon with military bases and fairies with children's stories, but since two of my new Fairy-types evolved thanks to moon stones I might as well run with it.

Geez! How did I not think of that?

Though if the moon stone's got something to do with it, that doesn't explain Nidokings and Nidoqueens. Pretty sure they're still ground/poison.

The Pokédex still says that Delcatty is a Normal-type, too. But two out of five isn't so bad, as far as patterns go.

Huh, seriously? You'd think they'd get changed right along with the other grotesquely pink things like Clefairy and Jigglypuff.

Even Snubbull changed, and that doesn't even look remotely like a fairy.

You're only saying that because you've never attached paper fairy wings to a Granbull. That's all you need to do to see the resemblance.

So slapping wings on a pink bulldog suddenly makes it a fairy?

I'm not sure I follow. Last I checked, fairies don't have huge fangs...

...Last I checked, dragons don't look like gooey purple slugs, either.

...Okay, point, but they at least evolve into dragons.

Then again, Altaria looks more like it'd be a fairy type than a dragon, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed.

Or it could have just as easily remained a partial Normal-type. I mean, the added resistances are great, but it still looks like a perfectly normal bird to me.

I don't know. Fluffy cloud wings don't exactly scream normal bird to me.

Then again, it had that even before it became part dragon.

Honestly, I'm still wondering why they change their type when they evolve. As far as I can tell, they just get bigger, nothing more.

Could be worse. Surskit starts out as water/bug but ends up water/flying when it evolves. That one at least makes sense, but from an adaptational standpoint, it sucks, because it gains a ton of weaknsses.

Maybe Swablus picked up the dragon typing as some weird survival tactic. Though you'd think that with all that fluff, ice wouldn't be as big of an issue.

And it loses a completely unique typing combination, too. It's such a shame.

Maybe the ice gets stuck winthin their wings and makes them too heavy to fly? But then you'd think that would also apply to waterlogged wings...

Wonder why it is that dragons are weak to ice in the first place. I've read stories about dragons breathing ice. Heck, Dragonites can do it, and they've got a huge weakness to it.

But then again, Rhydons can learn surf, and they're rock/ground.

...Maybe we shouldn't expect logic out of a place like this.

Stories about dragons breathing fire are more common, if I remember correctly, but considering that I've never seen a Fire/Dragon-type before that might mean nothing. Unless they count all dragons as lizards, since those are cold-blooded.

Bunnelby can learn Surf too, even though they become Ground-types. And even though they by all rights be crushed by the weight of a human.

You know, I wonder why that is. You'd think it'd be a no-brainer.

You'd think Charizards would be dragon types, for crying out loud.

I just want to know why every bug/flying Pokémon can't learn Fly. Not even the big ones like Scyther and Yanmega.

Maybe that's precisely why they're not Dragon-types. Because everyone expects it, so having a different type can sometimes give them the upper hand.

...Or maybe this world just distributes types at random, because I have a ghostly clay statue that flies as well as any bird. What can they possibly have against giant dragonflies as transportation?

Kinda silly. Being part-flying makes for one nasty rock weakness.

And, wait. Claydol can learn fly? Sheesh, those bugs really do have it rough.
