I just got around to getting my Pokédex upgraded, and now some of my old data is glitchy and incorrect. Not a lot of it, but still.
Is that known issue? Is there a fix for it?
I mean, it's not that much of a problem, but they should really test those upgrades before distributing them.

Maybe you could take your Gear back and let them know there is a problem? They might be able to correct it for you.

Think the nurses are any good at programming? Then again, maybe it's a known issue and there's already a patch for it.

Like incorrect types displayed for a few of my Pokémon. Most aren't affected, but it's still annoying.

That's really weird. Which ones is it doing that for?

Wigglytuff, Granbull, Togekiss and Clefable. They all got their type changed to Fairy, or got it added, which is why I think the update is causing it.

Yeah, turns out my sentient keyring is one of those Fairy-types, and those little friendly critters with the ribbons too. In those cases, the type is displayed correctly; it's just the other four that are wrong.

Or maybe your other ones got mutated by alien radiation and now the radioactivity is making the thingy read them as fairies.

Like ninja turtles. Fairy turtles. Ninja fairy mutant turtles.

You know, I was this close to saying that there's no way that's what happened, but after the last two months it honestly wouldn't surprise me all that much.

My actual turtle is still unmutated and not a fairy, at least. Jury's still out on the ninja part.

Maybe you should have one of the nurses check them out. Just in case of alien radiation.

Yeah, or... glowing god radiation, or something. Crystal radiation, too; those things were definitely not just decorative, and who knows how far their effects could reach?

...That bright flash of light that protected us, that was the god llama, right?

I sure hope so, because if it turns out there are more than one Pokémon out there with that kind of power I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep well again. Even if it was benevolent this time.

I wonder about that, actually! My Haxorus is usually pretty protective of the smaller Pokemon on my team...but nowadays, he seems a little bit more cautious around Diva, my Jigglypuff. And according to my Pokedex, Jigglypuff is a Fairy-type now...

Dragon-type moves don't work on Fairy-types at all, and not only that, they're super-effective against Dragons, too...so it makes sense that he'd suddenly become a little more wary of her, right?

It might be, it might not. I mean, those red and blue guys had that whale and that red thing with them. Who can say they won't try to get themselves a llama god next time?

The wariness of a Dragon when faced with a Fairy does make sense. But why would Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff suddenly be Fairy-types, now? Some Pokémon change types when they evolve, but not spontaneously in the middle of the night.

Why it asked us all to go. If those two guys had ganged up on it without us there...maybe that's what would've happened.

...Could be. Probably. Those grunts were easy enough to beat up, but if they'd all been working together without interference, and with those power ups and Pokémon... But then, would an alliance between them have lasted long, when faced with that kind of power? They'd have destroyed each other just for the chance to control it.

Perhaps it had something to do with that whole thing that just happened with Arceus and those crystals..? It makes sense that they'd be considered that type now that we know that it exists, but...still, to completely change its strengths and weaknesses, that seems like a pretty huge change!!

...Maybe it really is caused by alien or divine or crystal radiation after all. I mean, how else could a Pokémon suddenly become immune to a type that used to affect it? It's not like there's some sort of anti-Dragon vaccine out there.

They probably would've backstabbed each other, yeah. But that just means that in the end, control of god llama would've ended up with the worse of the two, right?

...And whoever that is would then have had revenge for their fallen comrades as an extra motive for destruction. That's one combo that would have ended badly for everyone involved.

Yeah.

Maybe that's why it didn't tell people who it was before it asked them to come help. Maybe it didn't want to give anybody ideas, since we're humans just like the red and blue guys were.
