People in Olivine, however, get to find out exactly what's going on! ...And what's going on would be Captain Ash, proudly riding an uncertain Bouffalant with a bright green afro around the city. Those who take a closer look might even see dozens of flowers, each of them lovingly painted on the Bouffalant's horns with nail polish.

If one of Ash's girls wants to look pretty, he'll damn well make her look pretty.]

[Atsuro's sticking to audio for the moment, seeing as he's working on something right now.]

Afrodite is... having some slight problems with her own self-conciousness. Her steps are less sure than they should be.

[All she wanted was green hair, not gawking kids.]

Atsuro blinks and stare at the screen, before he smiles.]

[Since he mentioned her self-consciousness, Atsuro figured Afrodite need an confidence boost. Plus, it's really unique. Not bad enough for him to laugh.]

Maybe a bit sandy.

[It's a bit hard to tell from that angle, but the compliment makes Afrodite light up. ash smiles at it, too.]

With all the sand on this beach, I'm surprised it's just a bit.

So that's where you're at. Since it's just a bit, you can brush the sand off her.

[Atsuro knows it's a little more than a bit, but he just smiles.]

I will, once she's had her fun. Or when it starts to rub her flowers out.

[Afrodite clearly looks distressed by that idea.]

[This reassures her but not completely, so Ash chimes in.]

Or use different types of flowers, in case you want to try a slightly different look!

It sure itis. It's been a long time since I last saw one, and I don't think Afrodite ever came this far south before.

I certainly am. Crimsone's in his ball at the moment, but I think that he'll be more open to play than he was back in Ecruteak.

Has he been doing better, then...?

A little. I think having the chance to fry a few Pokémon on the way here helped. He's even started to ask to go to the beach to train.

Having something to do always help to distract, I've found! Pia tends to get along well with a few of the others, although battling doesn't interest her much.

Sociability is a great way to deal with loss. She'll definitely be a good example for him.

I completely agree!! Shall we go to the beach for this, or elsewhere?
