Hey, I've got three questions for you guys.

1) Are there any engineers among us, amateur or professional? Especially ones familiar with humanoid combat robots, that'd be great.

2) If I'm flying from Vermillion, which is easier to reach: route 15, or route 25? And which of the two has the highest Slakoth population?

3) Chances of another Shapedonado this year: very high, high, medium, low, very low, oh god please no?

... That's... very true. And raises some frightening possibilities as to their durability if they could.

I don't know about you, but I don't particularly want to find out if their durability is that great. Especially if it turns out that it's not, and we somehow manage to invent violent Pokémon deaths.

I suppose that's true. Perhaps we shouldn't try that.

It'd be a sure way to get the locals to hate us. We don't want that.

Not unless we have a good reason to, at least.

Considering we might still be stuck here for years, it would have to be a very good reason.

Years aren't that long.

They can be. A year can flash by in less than a blink, or drag on for a lifetime. It just depends on what you do with it.

They can seem to be, but it's all a matter of perspective.

Everything is a matter of perspective, for people.

I suppose I might just have a longer perspective than other people.

Lucky you. ...Or should that be 'my condolences'? Longer perspective isn't always positive.

A bit of both, depending on the situation, honestly.

Figures there'd be both pros and cons to that. Guess it's a useful perspective to have when you're stuck in another world, though.

And it's useful to have experience training creatures, too. Not the skill I thought would be the most transferable, but here we are.

The skills we're told will be useful in the future are never the ones we end up using the most, while the 'useless' stuff is helpful throughout our lives. You'd think schools would have realized that by now.

Exactly. It's really a shame. It's difficult to change that sort of thing, though.

Yeah. Maybe I'll bring it up if I ever get to meet teachers again, but I doubt there's much they could do.

That stuff is usually set by education ministries, unfortunately.

And that's one of the few places where I don't have any contacts at all. Great.

Well, I could always hack into their databases and alter the curriculum sheets...

...Wouldn't employees with functioning eyes and a decent memory look at those sheets at some point? They'd be able to tell the files were modified.

Possibly. If you insert small changes over years, there's less of a chance. Alternatively, just send a demon to charm them.

...That's not an option in most worlds, and I don't think X-Rounder powers extend that far.

True. Unfortunately I don't have any good answers that work in all worlds.
