[The feed starts with a close view of the bottom half of a Snorlax floating on water, complete with an Octillery sitting between the legs and moving its tentacles like the world's slowest propeller. It backs away a little, partially showing Mt. Mortar to the side. There's plenty of time to take in the view, as the background is moving at a glacial pace.

A rout of tiny little baby Shellos is racing against the unlikely boat on the shore, and winning. Easily.]

At this point, I can't even tell which one is using Surf. Or if either of them is using Surf at all. It's been three days, and we're not halfway to Mahogany yet.

[Which would explain why Ash looks so bored when he finally looks at the camera. Behind him, gentle snoring can be heard. No wonder they're practically not moving.]

So, a little poll for you guys. Should I try to swim there by myself instead? Because I'm seriously considering it.

...How long is it usually supposed to take to get there?

...About two days or so, including the parts of the route that aren't water.

...I'd say maybe you could try swimming for a little while, but that depends on if you don't mind getting your clothes soaked.

[He knows he wouldn't but still.]

As long as I remove my coat getting the rest wet isn't so bad, but where would I put the coat? And my bag, for that matter.

I guess you don't have any Pokemon on you that can fly, or else you wouldn't be in the water..

In a great fit of madness, I decided that traveling on the ground and taking in the sights once more would be a great experience, and left all of my Flying-types in the PC.

[Excellent life choice, right there.]

If I had any Pokemon that could fly I'd try to help....there's gotta be something you can do, though. I mean, if worse comes to worse, maybe you can call someone to help you the rest of the way?

I could call the local police officers. Tell them I'm stranded on a short, straight route between two cities.

[A beat.]

...Think they'd laugh at me if I did?

Aw, well that wouldn't be fair! I mean, it's not your fault for wanting to go ahead and get to the shore already.

And it's not my fault my Pokémon enjoy sightseeing so much.

[Another beat.]

Maybe I should ration their snacks until we get there, though.

[Suddenly, the propelling and the snoring both stop.]

[Jimmy offers a sympathetic smile.]

Yeah, don't wanna run out of food before you get there, right?

Exactly. And since I didn't think the journey would last so long, I only packed enough food to last a week and a half. Not nearly enough to last if we keep going at this speed.

[...Is the background behind suddenly moving a bit faster...?]

[....HM.]

Yeah, that's right! And yaknow, I bet once you guys do make it to shore, you can get a whole ton of new treats n' stuff...

Mahogany is near the Ice Path, has a hockey team, and is entering the warmer period of spring. So I bet it has ice cream. Lots of really tasty ice cream.

[Picking up more speed...]

Ooh man, who doesn't like ice cream! I sure know I would love to get to try some.

[Jimmy is picking up what is being put down and apparently we are trying to get this party chugging along at a better clip.

AND APPARENTLY IT IS WORKING.]

So would I. But at this rate, we'll probably all die of exposure before we get the chance to taste any. What a shame.

[Food must be a very good motivator, because those Octillery tentacles actually sound like a propeller now.]

[That's definitely a good sign.]

I dunno! I bet you guys could get there in just a couple hours if you really wanted to.

[He thinks about that for a few seconds.]

I bet you one ice cream cone that we can't-

[SUDDENLY, SUPERSONIC SPEED.

Poor Ash barely has the time to hold on before the water starts flying.]

[By the time that happens, Jimmy is laughing.]

Hahaha, wow! Look's like you're really goin' now!

Looks like it indeed! I didn't think a Snorlax could go so fast!

[But he's very happy with that new knowledge, if his own laughter is any indication.]

[If Jimmy weren't witnessing it for himself, he may not believe it either. That, and he's never had that much experience with Snorlaxes to begin with.]

There, now you guys should be able to get where you're goin' in no time at all!

We'll be there before we know it. Maybe even earlier, if we keep going like this; I think we're about to break the sound barrier.

[Food is a great motivator.]

[If Ash could get his Snorlax moving that fast, it would probably be some kind of world record.]

Thanks! There's no way we'll get there as quickly as we would have normally, but maybe we won't waste the next two weeks after all.
