The older trainers and those who specialize in humanoid Pokémon might remember specific cases. Or maybe some of the locals.

She's not likely to know much, but others such as Gym leaders and older trainers have seen a lot over the years. And a talking Pokémon is the sort of thing someone would remember easily, I'm sure.

Probably. I mean, even when I arrived he'd been here for a long while, so he must have seen a lot of Pokémon over the years.

He's been here for ages. Has his own business built up from scratch and everything.

Not nearly. In fact, we have quite a few young entrepreneurs around. But building up a business takes time.

I don't think I'd want to build a business. I like traveling.

I'm sure most of the locals would agree with you. It's not for everyone.

I'd rather travel than stay in one place. Unless I like the place.

There's plenty of places to like around here, but I'd still recommend seeing them all before settling down. Preferably during each season.

Where's the best place for summer?

Olivine, from what I've seen. It has a beach and sun and tourists, without the isolation of Cianwood.

Really? What about in Kanto?

I don't know yet; I've only seen Saffron and Vermillion. But since Vermillion's by the sea, I'm guessing it'll become very lively over the next few weeks.

I'll ask my friends, then. They're in Kanto, so they'd know!

Is that why you chose to take the boat, then? To reach them more quickly?

Well, yeah. If I stayed in Johto, I would have had to wait till I got to Goldenrod, right? This was faster.

Less expensive, too. Those train tickets cost P20000, which isn't nothing if you haven't spent a few weeks working first.

I don't mind working. I'll have to anyways, right?

If you want some spending money. You could probably live off battles, but you'd only be able to afford the basics.

I'll just have to find a job in each city, right? That doesn't sound hard.

You have to make sure you can work at least five days, too. Otherwise, you can get arrested.
