I feel both unbearably unclean and boundlessly loved.
Considering the holiday, that's surprisingly appropriate. I just wish it didn't involve almost ruining my favorite coat and pants.

That said, do you think Whitney would mind if I flooded part of her Gym? Those critters are very grateful for the pond my Blastoise created on the sidewalk, but the neighbors' Growlithes have started glaring at me so I can't make it any bigger.

I absolutely had to. Did you try touching all that slime? If they stay on the sidewalk, people will start slipping and breaking their legs. The Gym is safer for everyone.

I got tacklehugged by twelve at once. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to wear my coat again.

Seriously. One moment I'm telling my Blastoise to dump some water on the sidewalk, and the next I'm covered in so much slime I could open a jello factory.

Man... Where did these guys even come from?

A dry cleaner's worst nightmare? Or maybe a Ditto bred with the wrong species, and we're now dealing with its mutant offspring.

M-mutant offspring... Really?

Those Dittos will make eggs with anything else they can find if given half a chance. It had to go wrong at some point.

Maybe it's a new species that sailed in?

Maybe. Have they shown up in cities that are far away from the sea? Like Blackthorn, or Saffron?

I guess I could head over to Saffron to take a look. We're in Celadon.

Wouldn't that take a while even with Fly? Then again, that would allow you to check if the route there is covered in slime.

Not that long. I mean we have them here, so the chances of them being in Saffron are pretty good.

True. If they don't mind hanging out in a large city like Goldenrod, they probably don't mind Saffron either. Though Goldenrod does have water nearby.

Celadon has this pond thingie... But mostly Muk or Grimer are in there so I don't know.

...Maybe they don't mind them because they're also Poison-types, and all this slime everywhere will slowly poison us?

Does anyone know what type they really are?

If they do, they haven't mentioned it on the network yet. Maybe we could just test it out with different attacks, but dual-types would make that tricky.

Isn't that just a little mean?

I said that we could, not that we should. But plenty of people are keeping them, so they'll probably figure it out as they train them.

I know I'm keeping at least one... So I guess I'll figure it out eventually.
