Well, the police will get angry if you just punch someone in the face without warning, and most people don't actually deserve it all that much. (If they do, aim for the eyes.)
But I've never seen someone from this world actually refuse to participate in a Pokémon battle before. I'm not even sure people have the right to do so.

Good to see someone practical around here. It's best not to give the police any reason to arrest you, yes. Fighting Rattatas or against Rattatas shouldn't be a problem, though.

Really? That's too bad. They get a lot of useful attacks, they're quick when they evolve, and most trainers underestimate them so you can easily exploit that in a fight.

If you don't like brown to that point, I guess it cuts you off from using a lot of Normal-types. Unless you manage to grab shiny ones, but some of those look even worse.

Well, of course they are. If anything, I'd say Normal-types are made special by their normalcy in the first place. Doesn't change the fact that many are brown, though.

Ha ha, you're not one for subjective value, are you? Yet there's got to be some skill or technological advancement that's considered normal in your world but special here. Or the oppposite. Like mobile suits, for example.

Mobile suits are giant suits of armor that people can control from the inside. In my world there are thousands, so they're expensive but often owned by individuals and not uncommon. In this world they don't exist, so if one suddenly showed up people would fight over it because it's unique. That's a form of subjective value.
