Do they play as opposing teams? The brave feline heroes versus the lava monsters, trying to cook themselves a snack?

Kind of a combination of that and the 'lava' monsters having to catch silly cats jumping to their doom. It can get kind of confusing!

As long as the players themselves have no issues keeping up, I'm sure the confusion is part of the fun.
