...I've probably eaten worse while deployed, but I admit that I'd like to know if it's artificial, or if they're hiding regular animals somewhere, or even if they're eating Pokémon and pretending that's not happening. Just to be certain, you know?

I don't want to risk eating something with the intelligence of a human being.

Considering how people treat even wild Pokémon, I'm... mostly sure that's not happening. ...Then again, Farfetch'ds do have a reputation...

I think I'll stick to being vegetarian while I'm here. It's worked fine so far. My sister agrees with me on that.

I don't go to places or buy things unless I know no Pokémon were killed to make it. Might seem crazy, but that's just how I am.

That means no leather and nothing with feather decorations, I'm guessing?

I still have the boots I came here with. Modified them. As for feathers, haven't worn those like that in a long time. It's not really practical.

Think they can still last for years, modified or not? Some people have been here for a long time.

They better. I might have to learn to wear those tennis shoe things. I'll avoid heels. Not the biggest fan of those.

Wearing those would just be asking for a twisted ankle the moment you left town, anyway. Thankfully I haven't seen many women wearing them on the road.

I've run around in heels before. It takes skill not to get hurt.

Neither have I. The only ones here to ask that of are Pokémon, and they don't really do what we do.

Yeah. I mean, I've seen plenty of Pokémon interested in human hobbies or society, but they still... think differently, somehow. Doubling in size and growing wings never seems to bother them.

That's because that is what they're used to.

Guess it's not so scary when all your relatives and ancestors have gone through the process already.

True. Just like humans have evolved. Though we do it at a much slower pace.

There's nothing wrong with taking our time, as long as we still change enough to endure.
