A Purugly, so you could say Team Cats started the competition with a large handicap.

I gotta admit, I don't know much about Purugly and how it behaves.

Consider yourself lucky and blessed. Then again, any dog or birds species could be equally bad tempered; I haven't seen them all.

Has anyone? [ a grin. ] Other than Spitfire, I can say mine aren't really too bad.

Spitfire? Is the name linked in any way to the problems caused by the Pokémon in question?

Maaaaaybe a little. She's pretty feisty. Much better now.

Due to time, or to evolution? It has a way of calming down some of the more... active Pokémon, if you're lucky.

Time, mostly. I think being around Flare for more than just battling might have helped.

Flare was a strong influence on her, then? Be glad it didn't go the other way.

Flare is pretty much the reason she followed us everywhere.

Love at first sight, then? That's adorable, as long as it'S not shallow.

I dunno about love. But she sure wanted a piece of him.

...Okay, fine, lust at first sight. Slightly less adorable and heartwarming.
