I'm surfing the seas on a big pink cow. (Have been for two days, as a matter of fact, even if I couldn't write so earlier. Was the network hit by a virus?)
This is either the greatest moment of my life or a terrible nightmare.

Except not anymore, because when I finally caught that Tentacool I was suddenly on a rock and she was unconscious.
I can't even step or jump off the damn rock.

She wasn't even the one fighting. I was on her back, that would have been a bad idea.

Maybe that Tentacool used some sort of Teleport move right before I caught it.
If Tentacools even learn Teleport.

Could you look up the number of the coast guard? Maybe they can pick me up.

my arcanine knows teleport.
that's legitimately something it can learn from a tm, no joke.
so maybe tentacool can too?

In theory, I'm between Olivine and Cianwood and closer to Cianwood.
In practice, I could have been teleported to the other side of the planet for all I know.

idk, we ask things like "who could ever mistreat or torture a pokemon?" and people do it anyway.
maybe there's something about it that makes the shininess not worth it.
but the egg thing is also a possibility.
in that same vein, the one of the parents could have been released and then mated with a wild one or something.

It's a possibility. Or it could have found its way here after its previous trainer disappeared.
Or maybe it was released because its very presence knocks innocent Miltanks out. Who knows?
